Description

Tourism Tech Series: DSLR Photography and Processing 101

This class is a hands-on working lesson on DSLR photography and photo processing. In the first portion we will go over the basic camera functions such as aperture, ISO and shutter speed, so you can feel confident using your camera in manual mode to get the most out of it. For the second portion, we’ll practice editing some raw photos using Photoshop Camera Raw. Adobe offers a $9.99 per month “Photography Plan” that gives you access to free updates to Photoshop and Camera Raw, and 20 gigs of online storage of your files. You can purchase the program here. Please come to the class with laptops already loaded with the programs so we can jump right into the hands-on editing process.

You must be able to bring your own equipment for this session.
